On 3rd Feb I woke up to find a thick blanket of snow surrounding our area! Decided to use this journal properly and share some photos, because it was really pretty.

First thing I woke up to, Tuesday morning.


View from my bedroom window! Backgarden, houses behind me & hills in the distance.


This was the patio out back, the snow lay in very weird patterns...
Excited, I rang the school and confirm that school was cancelled! Woohooooo!!


View out the front living room window, snow had fallen one of the thickest times I'd ever seen it, so it was very pretty to me.


Then I stepped outside - this is my driveway looking onto the street. Snow was better than expected, because it was fluffy, gorgeous white and crunched when I walked over it - a sign that it was here to stay! Yay~


Just a random photo of the snow on the trees opposite my house.


Then, being the lame ass that I am, I took a few photos in my garden. There's loads more of my plants and stuff but I'm not uploading those.


Thennn THENN, it started to snow again! After enjoying it for a few minutes, I realised it was getting pretty damn cold. So I went inside to enjoy the snow falling in the comfort of my own home.

Loooook! the snow was falling so heavily again that it started to cover my weird snow patterns on my patio.

Anyway, I got a call from one of my friends who lives close by to go out, so we just messed around outside for a few hours.

And thiiiis is Mr Snowman!


The snow made lots of places very beautful, like the river nearby.


Later in the day we went to the common (lots of fields, and leads up to the hills behind my house) for more snowball fights and to attempt to roll one big snowball (ended up taking 5 or 6 of us to push it)
Soooo much snow, and so thick too! Laying in it was really comfortable.


On the way there though, ~lizxeva took a photo of me, and ~zu22 pulled at the leaves above my head so it all fell on me! Brr, I look cold.


For most of the day I made little snow hearts and either gave them away to people or threw them at my friends screaming, "HEART ATTACK!!!!"
Bahaha. I'm lame.
